Cats in Crisis

They rescue and rehome cats in the Thanet area, with particular concern for elderly cats and ferals. Registered charity no. 1122296. They are entirely a voluntary charity, and do not have a rescue centre, all cats are cared for by volunteers in their own homes. This means that all their cats are usually well socialised and used to being around other cats. They have no wage bills, so that every penny they receive in donations can be ploughed straight into animal care. Their volunteers heavily subsidise the work of Cats in Crisis from their own pockets. Although mainly focussed on cats, there are usually around 150 dogs and rabbits in their care at any given time as well.

Tag Pet Rescue (Thanet Animal Group).

Their mission is to care for and rehome as many animals that they can. They don't receive any government funding so they rely on donations, income from their shops and the tireless work of volunteers to keep the centre going. They rehome cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and rats.
All of their cats, dogs and rabbits are spayed or neutered, something they feel very strongly about:
All cats and dogs are microchipped and the cats and dogs are vaccinated
All cats and dogs are treated for fleas when they arrive at the centre
All cats and dogs are all wormed and rabbits are inoculated again myxamotosis
